Which documents can Vegas Moose ask for?
Vegas Moose groups its standard verification requests into three categories: photo ID, proof of address and proof of the payment method. The exact items requested can depend on the account.
| Category | Examples Vegas Moose lists | Practical check |
|---|---|---|
| Photo ID | Driving licence or passport. | Use the secure proof-of-ID route shown in Account Details rather than sending an unrelated file through another category. |
| Proof of address | Utility bill or government-issued letter showing full name, current postal address and an issue date within the last three months. | Make sure the name and current address match the account record and the date is visible. |
| Proof of payment method | A registered card can be used as an example, with the cardholder name and last four digits visible. | If a card image is requested, the current FAQ instructs players to cover the middle eight digits. |
Follow the category shown inside the account rather than sending a larger bundle of unrelated documents. Provide bank statements, payslips or source-of-funds information only if Vegas Moose specifically requests them for an additional check.
Verification requests in Account Details
Vegas Moose directs players to My Account, then Account Details. The verification section lists the documents requested for the account and shows whether each item has been accepted.
For proof of ID, the Provide link redirects to a secure capture flow. The FAQ says the player takes a clear ID photo and a selfie, then returns to the account to check the status. Desktop users can initially receive a QR code so the capture process continues on a mobile device.
Proof of address can follow a different path. The current guidance describes a connection to a utility provider where available. If the provider is not listed, the flow can fall back to a manual photo or PDF upload. Proof of payment uses an uploader where the player selects the document to send.
Manual uploads: file types and review time
For documents uploaded on the Vegas Moose website, the current FAQ accepts JPG, PNG or PDF files and tells players to make sure the documents are clear. It says to allow up to three working days for uploaded documents to be reviewed before chasing support.
That three-working-day figure is specifically a manual document-review time. It is not a promise that every account verification takes three days, and it should not be added to another number to invent a universal withdrawal timeline. The Gambling Commission also explains that electronic checks can be much quicker while document-based checks can take longer.
Why verification can affect a withdrawal
The official Vegas Moose FAQ says a withdrawal can remain pending because ID documents are still required. That does not mean every pending withdrawal has the same cause. It means verification section in Account Details is one of the first account checks worth reviewing when a cashout has not moved forward.
If a withdrawal is pending, first check whether the account is asking for verification. The withdrawal information explains the cashout steps separately.
If you have not yet opened an account, see Vegas Moose registration for the sign-up steps and the importance of consistent personal details.
Great Britain age and identity rules
The Gambling Commission states that online gambling businesses must verify a customer’s age and identity before that customer gambles. Its consumer guidance also says operators often try electronic matching first and can request identification documents when available data is not enough.
The Gambling Commission says operators should not postpone an age or identity request until withdrawal when the same information could reasonably have been requested earlier. Other legal obligations can still lead to later information requests, so a request during cashout is not automatically a sign of a problem.
Financial vulnerability checks are not KYC
Great Britain also has a separate light-touch financial vulnerability check rule for remote operators. From 28 February 2025, the threshold is reached when a customer’s deposits minus withdrawals exceed £150 in a rolling 30-day period, subject to the rule’s scope and repeat-check provisions.
This is not the same thing as proving who you are. The Gambling Commission describes the vulnerability check as a public-record check for significant indicators of financial vulnerability. Identity verification establishes the customer; vulnerability checks assess a different risk question. Mixing the two can make a normal account process look more mysterious than it is.
Payment details and verification
Vegas Moose can request proof of a payment method, so the payment account and casino account should use the same name. The payment methods page lists the GBP deposit options and Great Britain payment rules.
Keep registration details accurate, use payment methods that belong to the account holder, monitor the verification section in Account Details and respond through the secure route shown in the account.
How to prepare documents that match the request
The most efficient response to a verification request is the smallest complete set of documents that answers the category shown in Account Details. Photo ID, proof of address and proof of payment serve different purposes, so one document should not be assumed to satisfy every category unless the account flow explicitly accepts it that way.
For photo ID, clarity and legibility matter because the secure capture flow needs to connect the document to the account holder. For proof of address, use a document that matches the current address on the account and follow the route shown by Vegas Moose, including the utility-provider connection where available or the manual upload fallback. For proof of payment, use the payment evidence requested for the method actually connected to the account.
Manual uploads support JPG, PNG and PDF according to the current FAQ. Choosing a clear file is more useful than compressing the document until details become hard to read. If several pages belong to the same proof, follow the uploader’s instructions rather than assuming that a single cropped image is enough.
Vegas Moose says manually uploaded documents can take up to three working days to review. That period relates to document review, not a guaranteed total withdrawal time. If a cashout is pending at the same time, the account can remain in a verification stage before the payment route itself becomes relevant.
Identity checks, payment checks and financial checks are different
Standard KYC establishes who the customer is and can include identity, address and payment ownership evidence. A request for source-of-funds information is a different type of check and should not be treated as a document that every player must upload routinely. Provide additional financial material when Vegas Moose specifically asks for it and follow the category stated in the request.
That distinction also helps with privacy. Sending unrelated bank statements or payslips before they are requested creates more information than is needed for a standard ID task. The account’s verification section is the useful guide to what is outstanding.
Great Britain rules require online operators to verify age and identity before gambling. Further checks can still occur later as part of the account relationship. Completing the initial identity step therefore does not mean that the operator can never request another document, but later requests should still have a clear account-level purpose.
Verification before a withdrawal
If a withdrawal is planned, check Account Details before submitting the request. An unresolved document status can keep a cashout pending, and resolving it first makes the sequence easier to understand. If the request appears after the withdrawal has been created, complete the requested verification rather than cancelling and recreating the cashout unless the account specifically instructs otherwise.
Payment ownership can be part of this stage. Using payment methods in the registered account holder’s name reduces the chance that the casino needs to reconcile a third party’s details with the account identity. It also keeps the banking record aligned with the information supplied at sign-up.
